The Reach at Piccadilly is a Tribute Portfolio hotel uniquely located close to Manchester’s bustling city centre and beside the peaceful waters of the historic Rochdale Canal.
Scheduled to open in 2024, it’s rooms and restaurants overlook Lock 84 on the beautiful waterway, from where guests can wine, dine and watch as canal boats navigate the ‘reach’ or stretch of water that winds its way through the city.
Only 90-seconds walk to Piccadilly Train Station, the hotel is perfectly located for commuters, tourists and visitors, affording them easy access to the nearby business district and all of the city’s main attractions.

Our chefs pride themselves on keeping it local and have created menus with a variety of delicious ‘small plate’ dishes, using ingredients from the finest producers in the city. These include our very own Lock 84 IPA, specially brewed by Salford’s Seven Bro7hers craft brewery and Ancoats Coffee, which is roasted just a few steps from the hotel.

The finest cotton, wool and timber – natural materials traditionally transported via hand-crafted narrowboats along the Rochdale Canal during the Industrial Revolution – have been used to create modern, functional spaces that are luxurious yet sustainable.
